A house of character

A townhouse hotel in Casablanca

In the heart of Casablanca’s Art Deco district, Le Doge opens the doors of a 1930s mansion turned luxury hotel. A member of Relais & Châteaux, our house has come through the decades while preserving what makes it unique: remarkable architecture, a hushed atmosphere and a certain idea of hospitality.

Here, contemporary comfort sits within a place with history, character and soul.

Since the 1930s

A mansion that has stood the test of time without losing its identity

The story of Le Doge begins in the 1930s. Legend has it that an Italian entrepreneur gave this mansion to his wife, whom he had met in Morocco. Over time and through changes of ownership, the house has evolved without losing its original purpose: to be a place for living and entertaining.

A staircase with a wrought-iron railing leads up to a glass dome adorned with colorful patterns.
  • Spiral staircase with a golden railing and red steps, lit by natural light from a skylight above
  • Living room with dark wooden walls, leather seats, a coffee table, a mirror, candles, and a stained-glass window.

“Now a hotel, the mansion has retained its architecture, its character and its history.”

An Art Deco heritage

1930s elegance, today’s comfort

Staying at Le Doge means rediscovering the charm of another era without giving up contemporary comfort. Art Deco finds expression in the architecture, the materials and the details, without ever turning the house into a static period piece.

Our 16 rooms and suites extend this world. Each one different, they are inspired by artistic and cultural figures who left their mark on their time, and each creates its own distinctive atmosphere.

This blend of heritage and contemporary comfort is now an integral part of Le Doge’s identity.

Hospitality at Le Doge

A house where we take the time to get to know you

With only 16 rooms and suites, Le Doge deliberately remains on a human scale.

Over the course of your stay, our team gets to know you, understands your habits and responds to your wishes. Faces become familiar and conversations more personal. You are staying in a luxury establishment, but above all we want you to feel welcomed into a home, “your” home.
